WITNESS APPEAL: Did you work for Bury Council in the 1970s and 1980s?

Our specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by the family of the late Audrey Lonsdale who sadly died from mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer. We believe Audrey may have been exposed to asbestos when washing her late husband’s work clothes.

Audrey’s husband, Leslie Lonsdale worked for Bury Council between approximately 1973 and 1986, and we are investigating whether Leslie may have come into contact with asbestos during his employment.

Audrey’s family are appealing to anyone who may have worked at Bury Council at the relevant time or worked with Leslie to come forward and tell us what they remember.

If you have any information that may assist please get in touch.
