WITNESS APPEAL: DID YOU WORK AT R MANSELL LTD IN CROYDON IN THE 1970s?

Posted by ,

DID YOU KNOW WILLIAM JOHN TARLING?

Our specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by the family of the late William John Tarling who sadly developed and died from asbestos related cancer.

Mr Tarling, originally from Scotland, was employed by R Mansell Ltd as carpenter and would cut up asbestos sheeting.

We are investigating further into how Mr Tarling may have come into contact with asbestos and are interested in speaking with anyone who worked at R Mansell Ltd during the 1970s, in particular between 1976 and 1977.

Mr Tarling’s family are therefore appealing to anyone who worked at R Mansell Ltd during this time to come forward to tell us what they remember about the work Mr Tarling would have been doing during this period as a carpenter.

Im sorry for the familys loss, we used to play with adbrstos as kids, but not everybody knew how dangerous it was.
I inhaled hydrated lime & nurned my throat & lungs about 1987, despite wearing a charcoal filtered mask, i now have asthma & COPD, but unforunately I cant prove that was the cause, although there should be an envrironmenal health record of an incident when the silo blew & covered a huge area including a school playground, but the companies make their millions with our labour & we suffer the jealth effects years down the line & they get away with their products killing us off early because their lawyers are very good, they can afgord them & us workjng class people cant.
