A New Year, a new approach: STEP and GWILS are joining forces for their first collaborative event and are excited to announce that Professor Lesley King will be sharing her insights into Current Issues for Private Client Practitioners. Broadly, she intends to cover the following topics:
- implications of the GDPR for PRs and Trustees
- 18 months on, thoughts on the residence nil rate band in action
- impact of the Supreme Court decision in Ilott v Blue Cross on first instance decisions, and
- the recent flood of proprietary estoppel cases (mostly involving farmers!).
In a bid to increase inclusivity and reach as wide an audience as possible, for this meeting (and for future STEP meetings) there will be the option of viewing the presentation via video-conference through the use of Blue Jeans software.
