Site to help start-ups goes from strength-to-strength

Spacious, which was launched at the start of the year, has managed to raise £500,000 with support from the likes of Dragons’ Den star James Caan and Wonga.com’s chief technology officer Jonathan Galore.

The site was set up by Rohan Silva – the former policy adviser to David Cameron – Tom Watson and Tusha Agarwal.

The trio embarked on the venture because they believed the property industry had failed to keep up with the increasing number of new businesses which were growing fast.

This inspired them to set up the Spacious site, allowing entrepreneurs and start-up companies to browse available office space by size, location and budget. Around 1500 firms have used the service since January.
