Royds Withy King recognised in top ranks of Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide
Royds Withy King have achieved top rankings in the 2020 edition of the Chambers High Net Worth guide, released by Chambers and Partners, the international leading guide to the law (published July 2020).

Five lawyers from the firm have been recognised in the latest Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide for their expertise in various areas of Private Wealth Law and Private Wealth Disputes.
Amanda Noyce, a partner and head of the firm’s specialist Contested Wills, Trusts & Inheritance Disputes team, has been ranked in Band 1 for Private Wealth Disputes. The Chambers and Partners guide describes Amanda as having “one of the most established hands in estate and trust litigation there is”. A client praises her “the ability to analyse large amounts of information, extract the salient points that relate to the law and totally bypass all the emotion that is wrapped up in this sort of affair.”
Mike Muston, who works alongside Amanda in our Contested Wills, Trusts & Inheritance Disputes team, has been recognised as an ‘Associate to watch’ for the first time. He is praised for his expertise on mental capacity matters and proprietary estoppel claims: “he is extremely good and is building up a formidable practice.” A client says: “He is understanding and easy to communicate with, and I feel assured he will do his utmost for us.”
Calum Campbell, who was previously recommended as an ‘Associate to Watch’ for his work in Private Wealth Disputes, has been recognised as a ‘Star Associate’. Calum is also a member of the firm’s Contested Wills, Trusts & Inheritance Disputes team.
The “highly rated” James McNeile, who heads up Royds Withy King’s Private Client team, has a wealth of experience advising agricultural and rural clients on inheritance tax and estate planning matters. He is described by one client as “extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with, particularly with navigating delicate negotiations.”
Tom Gilman, a partner and head of the Private Client team in Oxford has been recommended as “a well-known and well-liked person on the professional scene.” A source said: “I have no hesitation in referring things to him.” Tom regularly works with business owners and other high net worth clients.
