Royds return to international trade show

The team fielded questions and offered guidance to businesses from the homeware, gifts, fashion accessories and jewellery industries.

Royds has a long-standing association with the international trade show, which is held annually at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC).

Stephen Welfare, head of Royds’ intellectual property team, said: “I have been attending this event for over 20 years and despite the onset of the internet and online business the show remains an important showcase for products and business forum, with visitors travelling from across the UK and overseas.

“There are typically around 3,000 exhibitors in attendance and many of them  unveil their new designs. As ever there were questions and concerns expressed about intellectual property rights and  it was an ideal opportunity for visitors and exhibitors alike to get expert legal advice.”

At Royds, our experts can provide comprehensive advice on all aspects of intellectual property law affecting business – we have particular expertise in the jewellery and luxury goods market. For more information please visit or contact Stephen Welfare or John North.
