Royds appoints new partner to its dispute resolution team

Royds’ dispute resolution team has further expanding its expertise with the recent appointment of Jonathan Sharp as a partner.

Jonathan’s clients include ship owners, multi-national companies, insurance brokers, underwriters and a number of businesses in the aviation industry. 

Having previously worked in the commercial litigation department of a London law firm, he has developed particular expertise handling cases related to insurance and reinsurance, aviation, the marine sector, goods in transit and international arbitration.

He has a number of reported cases, including Kuwait Airways – v – Kuwait Insurance Company and Almatrans – v – Steamship Mutual.

Stewart Wilkinson, Managing Partner at Royds, said: “Jonathan’s particular expertise will further enhance the services that we currently offer and we look forward to working with him to develop his practice.”
