Over the course of the last year Victoria has achieved a number of high value settlements for negotiated exits for individuals / senior employees that include:
- a four figure settlement for a pregnant agency worker that was not made permanent due to being pregnant and then subsequently dismissed;
- acting for an individual that was refused a new role within a hotel due to being male, and achieved a large four figure settlement on the basis of sex discrimination;
- advising an individual in relation to his return to England from a secondment and subsequent redundancy. Victoria achieved a large four figure settlement through pragmatic and commercial negotiation.
Victoria has recently been praised for being “fast and efficient” in relation to resolving a complex disability discrimination claim whereby the individual was suffering with work related stress and the employer was failing to make reasonable adjustments to support her.
Victoria graduated in 2013 and completed the LPC at University of Law, Guildford, in March 2015. Prior to joining Royds Withy King, she worked as a Supervisor for Rushmoor Citizens Advice Bureau.
