Victoria is a Solicitor in our Personal Injury team. She works closely with partner Stuart Brazington and specialises in head, brain and spinal injury cases.

About Victoria

Victoria is a dual-qualified lawyer, having first qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2005 and then completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England to qualifying as a Solicitor in 2010.

Victoria joined Royds Withy King in November 2015, having previously worked as an Associate Solicitor for a national law firm in Bristol. Victoria has worked in all aspects of personal injury work since 2001, acting for numerous clients and gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in road accidents, employer’s liability and occupier’s liability cases as well as supervising individuals and teams working in these areas. Victoria began to specialise in brain injury cases in 2012 and has worked in this area since, having developed a particular passion and interest for this work.

Victoria has experience of both litigation through to trial and alternative dispute resolution having undertaken a course in mediation which gave her a greater insight into the alternatives and how to potentially achieve this in appropriate cases.

Victoria is very interested in wellbeing in the workplace and has set up the “new parents forum”. She is also a mentor for colleagues in the firm, having always been passionate about assisting others to achieve and develop.

Outside of work

Victoria enjoys spending time walking and discovering new places in southern England and northern France. Victoria enjoys all things equestrian and spending time with her young son.

I am very happy to be part of respected team who act for people who have suffered a head or brain injury as a result of an accident.

Our clients have usually suffered a life changing injury and so it is a very frightening and uncertain time for them and their families following the accident. I hope to be able to go some way towards helping our clients feel re-assured and help them to move on with their lives, as well as securing the compensation they deserve.
