Sophie is a Solicitor in the Family team in our Bath office.



About Sophie

Sophie qualified in September 2018 and advises on the following areas:

  • Public Children Law, including care proceedings and pre-proceedings (social services before they go to court)
  • Private Children Law, including child arrangements, specific issue orders, prohibited steps orders
  • Domestic violence cases including non-molestation orders, occupation orders and the link between domestic abuse and children matters.

Charities Committee

As Chair of Royds Withy King’s firmwide Charities Committee, Sophie engages with local and national charities and is actively involved shaping our charitable giving and community involvement strategy, from appointing our chosen charities to fundraising. Sophie led our 2018 Step Ahead Challenge which raised a total of £18,000 for charity.

In her spare time, Sophie also volunteers for Bath Rugby Foundation and ran The Bath Half Marathon in 2019.
