Shaun is a solicitor in our Corporate & Commercial team based in our
City of London office.

About Shaun

Shaun joined our Corporate & Commercial team in spring 2020 from a regional Essex practice. Prior to that, he had graduated from Reading University with an LLB law degree, following which he undertook the LPC MSc at the University of Law (Moorgate).

Shaun works on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters, including:

  • acquisitions and disposals
  • joint ventures
  • partnerships
  • corporate governance matters
  • shareholders’ agreements
  • commercial contracts and terms of business.

Shaun’s other areas of expertise include dealing with international clients looking to do business in the UK. He is also a keen sportsman and has an interest in working with clients in the sporting sector.

Work highlights

Shaun’s work highlights include:

  • advising on the sale of an international market leader within the music retail industry
  • advising on the sale of a company with agricultural assets worth in excess of £4 million to a market-leading developer
  • preparing terms and conditions for the organisers of a high-profile charity football tournament
  • preparing a software development agreement to be entered into by our client for the development of an innovative mobile application for use by customers.

Outside of work

Shaun also has a love of travelling and enjoys watching all sports. He plays football for a local team, and tries to watch as much of his favourite team Barnet FC as he can.

I really enjoy the diverse range of work to which I am exposed on a daily basis. As a corporate solicitor, I come into contact with clients of varying size, across a multitude of sectors and industries, and it is my duty to assess and understand their commercial objectives, and ensure that the legal advice I provide helps them to achieve these.
