About Samantha
Chambers and Partners UK (2018) independent directory recognise Samantha’s extensive experience in private client and charity law. Clients describe Samantha O’Sullivan as “helpful, informed, professional and friendly,” and note her level of expertise in acting for clients. Samantha advises individuals on a wide range of issues, including pre and post death estate and tax planning for individuals and families, use of trusts and tax-efficient Wills, inheritance tax and capital gains tax. She also assists with the formation and restructuring of charities and their dealings with the Charity Commission. Samantha trained in London and worked there for some years after qualifying as a solicitor, moving to the South West in the 1990s. She joined Royds Withy King in 2013 from Mogers, where she was a partner.

- AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) which provides support to families of abuse victims
- The Collins Educational Trust which makes grants to support children under the age of 18 to achieve academic excellence
- The Eva Crane Trust, which provides grant funding for apicultural research to individuals and organisations nationally and internationally.
In her spare time, Samantha is a volunteer with the junior section of Devizes Rugby Club. She reads voraciously, and is proud of having mastered baking croissants and Danish pastries.
