Richard is an associate in our Real Estate team, based in Bath, specialising in advising business owners with acquiring, disposing and managing real estate assets. He is part of our wider Leisure & Hospitality sector team.

About Richard

Richard acts for a wide range of clients including individuals and corporate entities.

His experience includes:

  • advising on the sale and purchase of freehold premises
  • acting for both landlords and tenants on all leasehold matters
  • providing real estate advise on corporate deals, such as share sales and purchases
  • acting for banks and lenders in taking security over a borrower’s asset
  • advising land owners granting options and leases for renewable energy projects.

Richard joined Royds Withy King in May 2013 as a paralegal before training and qualifying in 2016 into the Real Estate team in Bath.

Property is integral to all successful businesses, whether it’s a pub, hotel, office, field or warehouse. I like my clients to see me as part of their business team, working together with a positive, collaborative approach on their real estate deals.
