Remia is a solicitor in our Residential Property, Farms & Estates team, advising clients in Swindon and the surrounding area. She is experienced in conveyancing and specialises in arranging lease extensions for clients.



About Remia

Remia graduated from Cardiff University with a Bachelor of Laws degree then attended King’s College London to do a Masters of Laws specialising in International Business Law. Afterwards, Remia completed her Legal Practice Course at the Guildford College of Law. Upon graduation, Remia completed a training contract with Wannops LLP, a firm based in Southern England.

Remia joined the Residential property, farms and estates team at Royds Withy King in 2017 as a newly qualified solicitor, working in the Swindon office.

Experience

Remia advises clients on the residential purchase and sales of freehold and leasehold properties, as well as re-mortgages and transfers of equity. She specialises in arranging voluntary lease extensions for clients and is gaining more experience in arranging  statutory lease extensions.

Interests

Outside of work, Remia enjoys  running, cooking, travelling and (occasionally) singing.  Remia grew up in Kerala, India and can read, write and speak fluent Malayalam. At age 11, she moved to Sussex with her parents.

I am really excited for this new beginning at Royds Withy King. As someone who is new to the area, I am really keen to attend networking events and to build relations with the local people and businesses.
