James graduated from the University of Southampton with a first class degree in History and then completed a Masters degree in History at the University of Exeter. He then gained commercial experience at a large IT outsourcing company, before completing his GDL and LPC at the University of Law, Bristol.
James completed his first seat in Oxford, undertaking a split seat in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, where he was involved in several trials. He then moved to Bath for his second seat in the Corporate and Commercial team, where he worked on a number of transactions, including the sale of Bath City Football Club. James is now working in our Employment team.
In his spare time, James enjoys cycling, walking and is a keen middle distance runner, competing in a couple of races a year. He is also a big fan of Bath Rugby.”
