About Irene

Irene graduated in Law from Universita’ degli Studi in Milan gaining a First Class Honour Degree. She then enrolled at BPP Law School to study the Graduate Diploma in Law and went on to gain a Distinction on the Legal Practice Course. Work highlights

Recent work includes advising a renowned client in the pharmaceutical industry on the registration of various proposed trade marks and successfully achieving registration.   This often involved exploring the possibility of registration of different marks where conflicting registrations existed, negotiating with the opponent’s representatives with a view to finding an amicable solution by agreeing on a limitation of the specification of goods and services non-detrimental to the client’s business objectives.

Most notable and currently ongoing is a confidential corporate transaction representing an overseas listed company on £34M acquisition of certain subsidiaries and assets spanning various jurisdictions of a leading manufacturer of high-technology heating products.

Memberships

Irene is a member of the Law Society and of the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Away from work, Irene is a keen runner and enjoys skiing, yoga and going to the gym. Her other interests include socialising with friends, travelling and learning new languages.

I find the variety of the work I undertake very interesting and rewarding. I particularly enjoy working on corporate deals.
