About Elizabeth

Elizabeth, known as Lizzy, graduated from Cardiff University in 2013 with a degree in Philosophy and History. She then remained at Cardiff and completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course. Prior to completing her training contract at Royds Withy King, Lizzy worked as a paralegal in the banking and finance department for Ogier in Jersey.

Areas of expertise

Lizzy advises on project procurement and non-contentious construction and engineering matters. Her expertise covers:

  • contract analysis and negotiations
  • advice on risk analysis, procurement options, main contracts, sub-contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, parent company guarantees and performance bonds.

Lizzy’s client base includes funders, developers, contractors and consultants.

Memberships

Lizzy represents Royds Withy King on the Bath Young Professionals Committee. She organises networking events for professionals in Bath and raises money for local charities.

Interests

Outside of work Lizzy enjoys art, particularly painting and textiles. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, surfing and playing netball.
