Edward is an associate in our Corporate & Commercial team. He joined Royds Withy King in October 2016 and is based in the firm’s Bath office.

About Edward

Edward comes from a corporate background and acts for owner managed businesses, SMEs through to large corporates operating internationally. He is also passionate about business development.

Edward’s expertise includes:

  • advising on mergers, acquisitions and disposals
  • advising on corporate restructuring and reorganisations, including in financially distressed situations
  • drafting and advising on articles of association and shareholders’ agreements
  • drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
  • company formations and company secretarial work
  • advising on share buybacks and reductions of capital

Work highlights

  • a corporate reorganisation and related rebrand for a non-listed plc in the renewables sector
  • acting for a major US listed furniture designer and manufacturer on its strategic partnership with a growing UK retail company
  • the acquisition of a portfolio of care homes for a leading national provider
  • the sale of Bristol Forklifts Ltd to Red Diamond Distribution Limited.
