About David:

David is an Associate in our Oxford team specialising in claims for asbestos-related diseases.

David graduated with a First Class degree in Law in 2014. He went onto complete his legal studies and was admitted to the rolls as a solicitor in 2018.

David has come from a broad legal background including dealing with Industrial Disease and multi-track catastrophic injury claims, Criminal Injury (CICA) and housing possession proceedings. He has extensive advocacy experience, attending court on a regular basis for a range of matters such as complex disclosure applications and CMCs as well as extensive Family Law Proceedings including domestic violence, non-molestation and Children Act proceedings.

David joined us in January 2020 in the Industrial Disease team and specialises in asbestos-related diseases including mesothelioma, pleural thickening, lung cancer and asbestosis.

David regularly achieves settlements for six-figure sums and his recent successes include a fatal mesothelioma claim involving complex dependency considerations, and settlement of a mesothelioma case following a deposition where the Claimant gave evidence in his lifetime.

Interests

Outside of work, David enjoys participating in airsoft, playing video games and catching up on the latest movies, as well as cooking and cocktail-making.  He is also a huge American Football fan.
