Bath is a fascinating place to practice as a residential property lawyer. It has everything from listed Georgian townhouses, new estates, and Victorian terraces with areas of flying freeholds, leasehold flats, properties with unusual shared or private access-ways and interesting country houses with private services. On many occasions I have found knowing every area of Bath and any historic problems invaluable in resolving issues which might be daunting, costly or time consuming for our clients. A solicitor less familiar with the area would struggle to provide the same perspective.
