Andrew is an associate in our real estate team who advises clients on a wide variety of commercial property transactions including property development, acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work and property finance. He has particular expertise advising clients in the healthcare sector and has acted on high-value hospital and healthcare developments across the UK.

About Andrew

Andrew’s experience includes:

  • acting for GP practices on the acquisition and development of new premises
  • acting for dental practices acquiring new premises
  • acting for care homes in relation to the re-structuring and re-financing of their businesses
  • acting for banks in relation to secured lending offers to GPs, dentists and care homes
  • acting on NHS LIFT schemes to develop new health centres across the UK
  • acting for a developer in relation to the grant of commercial leases on a large mixed use development in North Bristol
  • acting for developers on all aspects of new residential schemes
  • acting for developers and landowners in relation to the grant of option agreements and conditional contracts on potential development sites.

Andrew trained at Richards Butler in London and then moved to Bevan Brittan in 2005. He joined our real estate team in 2014.

Commercial Property transactions present many challenges; not just the cut and thrust or complexity of a deal, but also the legal jargon used which dates back through the centuries. I enjoy guiding clients through this process to make sure they clearly understand what their options are and to support them to get the best possible result.
