Alex is a Trainee Solicitor in our Employment & HR team currently based in our Midland Bridge House office in Bath.
Alex studied politics and philosophy at undergraduate level at the University of Sheffield and then went on to complete his GDL at Cardiff University. While at Cardiff University, he worked as the vice president and director of Cardiff Student Union for a year as an elected official, specialising in postgraduate studies, before completing his Legal Practice Course in 2018.
Alex joined Royds Withy King in October 2018 as a claims handler in our Medical Negligence team, before commencing his training contract in March 2019. Alex has now moved over to work with our Employment & HR team in March 2021.
Alex has an immense interest in sports. He has competed in rugby for the University of Sheffield and has boxed for Cardiff University. He is now looking to compete in crossfit competitions across the UK.
I am incredibly excited to start as a trainee solicitor at Royds Withy King. I cannot wait to learn from some incredibly talented lawyers, and be challenged across a number of different legal disciplines.
