Jennifer Seavor has joined our specialist industrial diseases team which represents people with asbestos-related illnesses, including mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis and diffuse pleural thickening, as well as their families.

Jennifer, who has been working exclusively on asbestos-related claims for the last eight years, has joined Royds Withy King as an Associate from Boyes Turner. Her clients include those who were exposed to asbestos in the workplace many decades earlier and who have gone on to develop serious asbestos-related illnesses.

Mark Walters has joined our traumatic brain and spinal injuries team. Mark assists with complex, high value claims for catastrophic or fatal injuries, as well as injuries sustained abroad, including car and cycling accidents. He joins the firm from Blake Morgan.

Sharon Tavengwa has joined the personal injury team from Lyons Davidson. Her role is to provide high quality services to clients who have lower value claims, typically in relation to public or employer’s liability.

Commenting on the team’s expansion, Tracy Norris-Evans, partner and head of Personal Injury at Royds Withy King based in Oxford, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jennifer, Mark and Sharon to our growing team. In an increasingly competitive legal market for personal injury claims, we have chosen to develop our expertise and national reputation in specific niche areas while continuing to provide a high quality, personalised service for people with more general claims.”

Royds Withy King’s Personal Injury team is made up of a number of specialist units to deal with complex cases requiring specific expertise and experience. These include traumatic brain and spinal injuries, asbestos-related claims, chronic and complex regional pain syndrome, amputations, cycling accidents, fatalities and claims against animal keepers and owners. The firm also deals with compensation trusts and deputyships and permanent health insurance disputes.
