How do you know care has been negligent?
You may know something is wrong, but may not be sure what, or how it occurred. The most important thing to do is to get in contact with us as soon as you can. We can have an informal chat about your condition and discuss the next best steps for us to take together.
There are many different types of medical negligence and we are experts in understanding them all.
How long will a claim take?
The length of any claim will depend on the nature and complexity of your case. Generally speaking the more complex and valuable a case, the longer it will take to conclude. It will also depend on the actions of the Defendant Doctor or Hospital Trust; sometimes they admit liability early, but frequently liability or the value of the case is fought, adding a lot of extra time.
What are Royds Withy King’s credentials?
Royds Withy King’s specialist team have been independently accredited as leaders in our field of law by external assessors, Legal 500 and Chambers Guide to the legal profession.
There are two main independent organisations which give accreditation to clinical negligence lawyers – the Law Society, and Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA).
In order to be on the panel of either the Law Society or AvMA, lawyers need to prove that they have successfully conducted a high number of clinical negligence cases successfully, and understand the medical and legal issues involved.
The team has 7 such panel memberships, and is therefore accredited to a very high level indeed.
We always ensure that you have the most experienced solicitor for your type of injury and that you will be extremely well cared for during the course of your claim.
