Our Health & Social Care team is delighted to invite you to an exclusive evening with Alex Ruck Keene, barrister and a pre-eminent authority on issues around mental capacity law and policy.Next year, the controversial Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) system will be replaced with the Liberty Protection Safeguards scheme (LPS). In this practical talk, tailored for care business owners and managers, Alex Ruck Keene will:

  • explain why the LPS scheme is replacing DoLS
  • outline the key features of the new scheme, and
  • suggest practical steps that you need to take now to make sure your business and your staff are prepared for the change.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and network with other care business owners and professionals. Places at this event are limited to two per organisation; we recommend early registration to make use of this unique opportunity to hear directly from a top expert in the field.
