WITNESS APPEAL: Did you work in the construction of the Barbican Centre between 1978 and 1980?

Mr Merrell worked as an electrician’s mate for Drake and Scull during the construction of the Barbican Centre between 1978 and 1980. He can recall using asbestos insulation board to box in electrical wires, cables and conduits.

Other trades and companies were working alongside Drake and Scull employees during this time, and information from anyone who spent time working at the Barbican Centre during this period would be greatly appreciated.
