WITNESS APPEAL: DID YOU WORK AT THE SWINDON RAILWAY WORKS OR PRESSED STEEL FISHER?

Our specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by the family of the late Brian Lewington who sadly developed and died from mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer.

We are investigating how Mr Lewington may have come into contact with asbestos during his working life. Mr Lewington worked at the Swindon Railway Works as a coach finisher. He undertook his apprenticeship at the Railway Works in the 1950s, and returned to work there in the 1970s and 80s. We are therefore interested in speaking with anyone who can remember working with Mr Lewington at Swindon Railway Works to come forward and tell us what they remember.

Mr Lewington also worked for Pressed Steel Fisher in the 1960s/70s as a panel beater. We would be interested in speaking to anyone who can remember working with Mr Lewington at Pressed Steel Fisher or who worked as a panel beater at the company to come forward and tell us what they remember.

Whilst we have pursued claims against both Swindon Railway Works and Pressed Steel Fisher before, specific evidence in each case to show how a person has been exposed to asbestos is always helpful. As such, we are appealing for witnesses to come forward who worked directly with Mr Lewington to confirm how he may have come in to contact with asbestos, or who worked in the same roles as him.

If you have any information which may assist, please get in touch.
