WITNESS APPEAL: DID YOU WORK AT PRESSED STEEL FISHER OR BRITISH LEYLAND UK LIMITED IN SWINDON BETWEEN 1963 – 1984?

Our specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by a client who has recently been diagnosed with mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer.

Our client’s father, Tommaso Lepore, worked at Pressed Steel Fisher and British Leyland UK Limited in Swindon as a gas welder between 1963 and 1984. We are investigating whether our client may have come into contact with asbestos on her father’s work clothes whilst he was working at the companies.

Our client is appealing to anyone who may have worked at Pressed Steel Fisher or British Leyland UK Limited in Swindon between 1963 - 1984. We are interested in speaking to anyone who worked as a gas welder, or worked with Tommaso Lepore, and has any knowledge of the use of asbestos at the premises, to come forward and tell us what they remember.

If you have any information that may assist please get in touch.

Pressed steel fisher was always very protective of employees supplying the right protective clothing etc and hand a strong union to keep safety standards. To my knowledge, there was no asbestos anywhere and I think you are barking up the wrong tree.
