Withy King unveils new brand

Withy King has launched a new brand identity which positions clients at the very heart of its practice following 18 months of research into what people want from their lawyers.

The new logo in warm red and orange tones with its distinctive curves is a departure from the blue colour schemes favoured by 60 per cent of law firms - and is a radical change from Withy King’s previous identity which has been associated with the firm for several decades. The firm’s branding is being brought to life with real client photographs and commentary.

But Withy King’s rebrand is about far more than a smart new image. Managing Partner, Graham Street, explained: “The launch of our new brand is just the beginning. We are very aware that strong brands aren’t built on colourful logos but on reliability, transparency, integrity, approachability, service and other values. Our brand is our soul. Changing our appearance doesn’t change who we are but it does allow us to alter the way we are perceived. It also enables us to interrogate our values and ensure they continue to meet the needs of our clients.

“We recognise that a good brand is one that delivers on its promises. We are totally committed to our clients and ensuring that Withy King lives up to their expectations, now and in the future.”

Withy King, which was first established in 1873, provides businesses and private clients with the full spectrum of legal services and specialist expertise. The firm, which employs 247 people, has offices in Bath, Oxford, Swindon and London.
