Withy King raises £4k for Prospect Hospice

Private Client solicitors at the Swindon and Marlborough offices of Withy King have raised £4,000 for Prospect Hospice through its “Make a Will Month” initiative.

Withy King offered its professional will-making services free of charge to people who wanted to make a will or update their existing one in exchange for a donation to Prospect.

“We were delighted to help raise £4,000 in donations for such a fantastic charity,” said Mandy Casavant, a solicitor in the Private Client team at Withy King in Swindon. “The one uniting factor in all the people I met during “Make a Will Month” was that they had been touched in some way by the work of Prospect Hospice. Prospect has such a positive effect in the community. People have been inspired and driven to help in any way they can to ensure the hospice continues its invaluable work.”

For over thirty years, Prospect Hospice has provided the only dedicated end of life care service for the 280,000 people living in Swindon and north Wiltshire, as well as Fairford and Lechlade in Gloucestershire. They provide care, comfort and confidence around the clock every day of the year. They aim to bring more care for patients and practical and emotional support for their carers and family. Last year their dedicated end of life care reached more than 1,800 people living with cancer and other serious conditions in the area.
