War against file sharing sites continues

Action against the sites was started by the Federation Against Copyright Theft (Fact) in conjunction with the Motion Picture Association (MPA). A growing number of sites accused of aiding piracy are now blocked to UK web users including the Pirate Bay, Kickass Torrents, H33T, Fenopy, Movie2K and Download4All.

A spokesman for Fact said the action against the two sites was just one aspect of the policy against pirate sites. Other strategies include cutting off funds to infringing websites by targeting ad networks that some sites relied on to generate cash and stopping donations and payment providers are looking at ways to stop donations and other payments getting through to such sites.

What should we do to combat pirate sites- what are your suggestions?
