RWK Goodman achieves top rankings in Chambers High Net Worth guide

Our Private Client team across the firm have been recommended for their work advising clients on a range of matters including Wills, tax, trusts, IHT, estate planning and inheritance disputes.

Four lawyers from across the firm have been singled out and recognised for their expertise in various specialist areas of Private Wealth Law and Private Wealth Disputes.

Amanda Noyce, a partner and head of the firm’s specialist Contested Wills, Trusts & Inheritance Disputes team, has been ranked in Band 1 for Private Wealth Disputes. The independent directory describes Amanda as a “top lawyer in the field.” Recently, Amanda successfully represented the family of two victims in the high profile Barton case where a care home owner groomed six wealthy residents and took control over their finances. Amanda’s expertise is considerable and includes advising and supporting clients through contesting and defending Wills and trusts, estate disputes and applications to the Court of Protection.

Calum Campbell has been recognised as an ‘Associate to Watch’, for his work in Private Wealth Disputes. According to an independent source “he is very thorough, commercially minded and pragmatic,” while another commends him for being an “extraordinarily approachable, down-to-earth and engaging man.” Calum is a member of the firm’s Contested Wills, Trusts & Inheritance Disputes team and specialises in helping clients defend or contest a Will and advises on a broad range of inheritance disputes.

James McNeile, a partner and head of the Private Client team has been recognised for his extensive experience advising a range of clients on private client law. James advises a range of clients including landed estates, and families on estate planning and specialises in tax planning for non-UK domiciled individuals with assets in the UK.

Tom Gilman, a partner and head of the Private Client team in Oxford is described as "an excellent communicator who provides sound advice and guidance.” Tom, who regularly works with business owners and other high net worth clients, has been noted by Chambers for the service that he provides to clients relating to Wills and estate planning.
