RWK Goodman shortlisted for Advisory Firm of the Year award

The law firm has made the shortlist in recognition of its work and achievements in the region over the past 12 months.

During the financial year ending April 2019, our revenues reached a new high, with the firm achieving a turnover of just over £38m. This growth can be attributed to organic growth and new client wins as we have extended our reach within Bristol and the South West, nationally and internationally, as well as by targeting specific industry sectors and niche market segments

The Business Leader Awards bring together the most influential leaders in business, education and government to recognise and celebrate business success, supported by the area’s most important professionals and advisors. Winners will be announced at Ashton Gate on 26 September.

James Worrall, a partner in the South West Corporate team at RWK Goodman, said:

“We’re very proud to be shortlisted for Advisory Firm of the Year. The shortlisting underlines our growing national reputation as a dynamic and ambitious firm, the quality of our lawyers and our recent successes. Over the past 12 months we’ve seen the opening of our central Bristol hub, a number of key lateral hires and a significant expansion in our specialist sector offerings. Everything that we do is underpinned by our commitment to be lawyers ahead of the curve, and the feedback we get confirms that we are getting it right.

“There are some impressive other finalists, especially in the Entrepreneur of the Year and Innovation & Technology Award categories all of which demonstrate a dynamic and forward thinking approach which bodes well for the continued success of the South West economy.

“We are working with a number of entrepreneurs and innovative clients working on market-disrupting propositions, so being recognised at this level with other successful businesses is also an excellent opportunity for us to further cement our expertise in these areas.”
