Royds Withy King advises Savvypro Networks in acquisition by Pageant Media

Royds Withy King advised Savypro Networks on the deal. Its Corporate team was led by Partner James Worrall and included Associate Nicola Anderson and Senior Associate Tim Gofton.

Savvy Investor pulls together more than 10,000 white papers and other third-party content from across the investment management industry for more than 55,000 members worldwide in an easy to use, personalised digital platform, says Pageant Media.

The UK-based business further strengthens Pageant’s current investor intelligence product offerings. Savvy Investor is the fifth acquisition to be completed since Intermediate Capital Group became Pageant Media’s strategic partner in February last year. The 23-strong team will continue to work out of the company’s offices in Bournemouth.

Commenting on today's announcement, Charlie Kerr, Chief Executive of Pageant Media, said: “Savvy plays an important role in providing investors with valuable investment research and market insights. We are delighted to be able to add the service to our existing portfolio of information products targeted at asset allocation and fund-raising.”

Andrew Perrins, founder and CEO of Savvy Investor said: “Becoming part of Pageant Media provides Savvy Investor with a fantastic opportunity to accelerate our membership growth and enhance our service to partners and members alike. The deal provides a great springboard for the next phase in our growth and I’m excited to be joining such an ambitious and dynamic team.”

James Worrall, Partner at Royds Withy King who was a member of the transaction team, said: “It was a pleasure working with Andrew and the team at Savvy Investor on the transaction. With some 50,000 members globally, it looks to be a great addition for the Pageant Media group and will further enhance Savvy Investor’s offering to its users.”
