Inward Investment Figures Revealed

According to the latest figures, during the first three quarters of last year, both London and the South East saw 193 inward investment deals completed; although foreign-led deals within the North West and Yorkshire rose at the fastest pace.

A breakdown of the latest figures has revealed that behind London and the South East, was the North West, followed by the South West, and Yorkshire, with 38, 31 and 30 foreign-led deals respectfully.

Those regions at the other end of the scale were Wales (9), the North East (11) and East Midlands (18).

In addition to revealing the UK regions benefit from inward investment; the latest figures have also highlighted that most interest came from the USA, followed by France and Germany.
