Join RWK Goodman's Employment & HR team and Juice Recruitment at our next HR Hub to discuss the recent Veganism case and other developments in discrimination law.

The recent case on whether Veganism is a protected philosophical belief is just one of a string of recent cases in which equality and discrimination law has continued to evolve. In this session, Richard White will facilitate a discussion on the direction of travel of discrimination law, and the practical steps you should consider taking as a result. The areas for discussion may include:

  • The impact and practical issues arising from the Veganism case.
  • How to spot and deal with disability discrimination issues relating to Section 15 of the Equality Act 2010.
  • Proposals to extend protection against redundancy in connection with pregnancy and maternity leave.
