Health & Social Care sector team at RWK Goodman acts for the sellers of a Hampshire care home

Health and Social Care Partner Hazel Phillips advised the shareholders of Four Marks Limited in the sale of their shares in the company which owns Belford House, situated near Alton in Hampshire.

Belford House opened in 1993 and has been run by the sellers since 2012. The home has 31 bedrooms with en-suite facilities and was rated Good by the Care Quality Commission in its last inspection.

Hazel Phillips said: “We are very pleased to have advised our client on the sale. Belford House is a successful business and we are certain the new owner will ensure that the establishment continues to flourish.

“As health and social care lawyers, we specialise in providing expert, cost-effective advice to care providers and care home operators. We are thrilled to have supported this transaction and have enjoyed working with our clients and Christie & Co who acted as agent in the sale.”

Jerry Webb, one of the Directors of Four Marks Ltd, was delighted with the result.

“Hazel and the team have been truly exceptional throughout the transaction.  Their understanding of care businesses is second to none, and this along with a commitment to get the deal done was a major factor in helping us complete the sale.”
