Economic Question Time for Oxfordshire Businesses

Oxfordshire businesses are invited to take part in an Economic Question Time event run by Oxford law firm Withy King and featuring the Head of Economics at HSBC, Mark Berrisford-Smith.

Mark Berrisford-Smith will highlight the issues and opportunities for Oxfordshire businesses in the context of global, UK and local economic challenges and the Chancellor’s Spring budget. He will be joined on the panel by Richard Baxter, corporate and commercial partner at Withy King, Angela Caiger, corporate tax partner at Shaw Gibbs and Nicky Godding, business editor at Cotswold Life.

Nicola Blackwood, MP for Oxford West and Abingdon, will be chairing the event which is taking place at Said Business School, Oxford, on Thursday, 9th May, from 5-8pm.

“Withy King’s quarterly Oxfordshire Business Barometer in association with the Oxford Times and inbusiness magazine has helped to provide an insight into the issues and challenges facing businesses in our region,” said Richard Baxter, corporate and commercial partner at Withy King. “We look forward to hearing more from the Oxfordshire business community at this event as well as from the experts themselves. We’re expecting a lively and stimulating debate!”
