Associated Employers for equal pay purposes
The council transferred some of its service into LLPs, over which it maintained significant control. Consequently the council and the LLPs were considered to be associated employers for the purposes of equal pay, so that female employees who had transferred to the LLPs under TUPE could compare their pay with that of male employees who still worked for the council.
