HR Hub | Boosting workplace wellbeing with music and movement - Bath, Wednesday 6 March 2019

Could movement and mindfulness be the answer to improving wellbeing in your workplace? Join us for our next HR Hub on Wednesday 6 March to find out Curo’s experience, as their workforce recently took part in a wellbeing programme run by local charity Make a Move.

With 1 in every 6.8 people experiencing mental health problems in the workplace, and 12.7% of all sickness absence days relating to poor mental health, as organisations we should all be putting our wellbeing initiatives into action. But there are lots of different things that can be included within an effective wellbeing programme. In this HR Hub, we explore the approach taken by Make a Move, a local Bath based charity.

Make a Move run wellbeing programmes and workshops with a focus on movement and mindfulness, in order to:

  • reduce stress and anxiety
  • improve focus, clarity and concentration
  • energise and motivate people, and
  • empower individuals to identify the triggers to improve their own mental health.

Curo, one of the largest employers in Bath, have recently worked with Make a Move. Curo will tell us about their experience of the wellbeing programme and the differences they have seen in the wellbeing of their workforce.
