Charities seminar: Operating in uncertain times - London, 20th March 2018
Our Charities team is partnering with accountancy firm Crowe Clark Whitehill to share the latest information on Brexit, GDPR and tax issues at a series of seminars, called ‘Operating in uncertain times’. Aimed at HR and finance professionals within the charity and not-for-profit sector, these seminars are free to attend and are being held in London, Reading and Oxford.
2018 is likely to be defined by the ongoing Brexit negotiations and the passage of the EU Withdrawal Bill, which will, amongst other things, lay the framework for the future movement of EU workers to the United Kingdom.
Charities and not-for-profit organisations should, however, be aware of some additional key developments on the horizon in 2018, to enable them to adequately take the necessary steps to avoid potential pitfalls.
This seminar is aimed at HR and finance professionals within the charity and non-for-profit sector, and will consider:
- Brexit and EU Immigration: the impact on global mobility presented by Helen Murphie and Dinesh Jangra
- Changes to the tax treatment of termination payments presented by Susan Ball
- The impact of GDPR on HR and payroll teams presented by David Israel or Paul Hayward
Date: Tuesday 20 March
Time: 3.30pm – 5.00pm
