Charities seminar: Charity safeguarding, governance & fundraising - London, 19 November 2018
Jacqui Lazare, private client solicitor and member of our Charities sector, has been invited by MBL to deliver a seminar on the subject of “Charity Tax Legislation, Practice & Procedure”. MBL are a national Continuing Professional Development provider for lawyers. The event will run on 19 November in London.
With the current climate of uncertainty, this seminar will examine the issues affecting the charity and not-for-profit sector, discussing how charities may cope and go about consolidating resources with other charities. In light of recent cases relating to safeguarding, governance and fundraising, attention will be focused on charity tax rules affecting donors, together with general best practice for trustees and senior management.
