What we look for in a trainee
At Royds Withy King we are on the look out for ambitious and dynamic individuals to become our next generation of lawyers. We want people who are committed to our vision of providing outstanding client service and who will have a long and successful career at the firm.
We have a rigorous application process and with a high volume of applications, competition is fierce. What will make you stand out is your passion for client service but also your individuality. These areas will be assessed through a number of activities throughout the selection process:

- Video interview
- Group activities
- Face to Face Interviews
- Written exercises
All applicants are required to hold a university degree or equivalent at 2.2 or above in any discipline (or be on track to achieve this). You will need have completed your legal studies (GDL and LPC) prior to the start of your training contract.
