Royds LLP solicitors David Bowman (Dispute Resolution) and Gemma Ospedale (Employment) attended and spoke at the 2015 British Spanish Lawyers’ Association Annual Conference which took place at Palma de Mallorca, Spain at the invitation of the organising committee. The well received talks took place on the morning of Saturday 16th May 2015 and were respectively on A Comparative Study of the Personal Insolvency regimes in England and Spain; and An Employment Law update on legislation and recent case law decisions. The conference, which this year was kindly hosted by Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Baleares, is the pre-eminent forum for legal professionals from the United Kingdom and Spain to debate comparative law between the jurisdictions and emerging trends in the provision of legal services to businesses and individuals.
